Long Weekend 2

These long weekends are spoiling us!

Oct 27 - Saturday

Stayed home in the morning watching DVDs and surfing the internet. Left the house at around 3:45 to catch the 4:30 mass in Santuario. Went to the NBC Tent at the Fort to look at the Bazaar. We were especially curious if the stall of Ikea products is there. It wasn't. But we found some interesting things: wagyu steak, salad dressings, and export overruns of American clothing brands. Of course we were so curious to find out what's so special about Wagyu beef, and so we bought a couple of packs. Also bought a cute Polo Ralph Lauren dress for my niece S. I was interested in the brand "Thea" which had white cotton nightgowns/lounging dresses which looked very nice and comfortable, but found the prices at P700-800 quite steep. I was still happy with my P80 night gowns from Divisoria. We had dinner at Italianni's, Bonifacio High Street after.

Oct 28- Sunday

Attended the 7th birthday party of GC, son of AC, my good friend at work. Met Hubby's family after.

Oct 29- Monday

Visited my late grandparents at Manila Memorial Park in Sucat. Went to my parents' house after for lunch. My niece S was at her element, charming us to the hilt. Met up with Hubby's family again to go to MC Depot in Fort and grocery shopping at S&R. It was my first time there, and it actually reminded me of Costco in the US. Had an early dinner at the S&R food court . Have you tried their Quarter Pound Burger? It was good!

Hi Tina! Thanks for passing by=) Glad you liked our pictures.

PZ, the wagyu beef was so good! we cooked it without seasoning and it was so tasty and tender.

D, sige next time you're here, we should go there. There are a lot of nice restaurants there, and of course great shopping.

We bought the wagyu beef at the NBC Tent Bazaar, am just not sure until when the Bazaar will be. I also heard that these are available at the Salcedo Market. We bought ours at around P700 for around 250 grams. I'm sorry we were not able to get the name of the supplier.
