Made It (Friday na!)

It's the end of another week, and what a week it was. The rest of my work week:

Oct. 24 -Wed

8AM-2:30 PM The usual paperwork and teleconferences with financial analysts and investors
2:30-4:30 PM Board Meeting and Treasurer's Report for Company 2
6-7:30 PM Financial Management Class
7:45-9:15PM Managerial Accounting Class

After 1.5 months, I'm finally adjusting to my classes. I already know each of my students, and I already have an idea what kind of grades they are going to get at the end of the term (Well, I still have to see how well they will do in their Finals and individual papers). Unfortunately for my students, I even know when a student steps out of the class and how long they're out. A 15 minute "break" means they are marked absent. The good part, I'm now more at ease with my students and welcome the occasional bantering with them.

Oct. 25- Thu

Had several teleconferences, in addition to the regular work that I do. Regular work includes preparation of analysis and reports, and review and approval of reports prepared by my staff. After work, since Hubby had a dinner with a client, I went to the Podium to do some errands. Found out that one of my favorite restaurants, Pinoydon, is already closed (or is it just undergoing renovation?). Topshop and Dorothy Perkins were on sale. Body Shop was still on sale, and no, I didn't buy more home fragrance oils (although I was tempted to, hehe). Watched an episode of Gossip Girl. Am not sure I like it. It didn't have as much impact to me as some of my favorite "youth" shows such as Friday Night Lights and One Tree Hill. I like watching these shows, they make me feel young :-)

Oct. 26- Fri

My team was responsible for conducting an Investors Briefing, a quarterly event where we report on the quarter results. It was successful, with a lot of attendees and was fairly smooth-sailing. Went straight home after work since Hubby had another Company event, and his office barkada were also going out after the event. Ate an early dinner of pasta with olive oil, garlic and hungarian sausage and then had a marathon of OC's Season 4. It was a good way to unwind. Compared to Gossip Girl, I still like OC more.

My schedule is usually like this, but the meetings will be with different people. Haven't really gone to a spa since our girl's day at the spa. Ok na sa kin to watch TV shows while lying on the couch and eating potato chips:-)

Does this answer your question of "Are we working too hard?"
