Yup, it's part of preparing for my retirement. I can see myself teaching for the long haul and having a DBA would give me more flexibility in teaching most subject plus subjects in the Master's and Doctorate levels. As it is, college professors are now required to have at least Master's units.
I thought retirement means lazing around, relaxing, taking trips, hobbies, doing things you never had time to do because of work, kids, etc, having lunches / dinners with family and friends...

Hi SC! I think I'll need something to be busy with. Teaching is really like a hobby, but there are easier ways to do it such as teaching in the graduate level where you just facilitate with very minimal lectures. I really don't want to teach Accounting when I'm already old!
